Our favourite sandwich to pick-up on weekends, again totally unauthentic!

Tofu Banh Mi with Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 Baguette cut into 6" pieces or 4 small baguettes
  • Daikon, Red Onion, Carrots, Cucumber Slice into matchsticks and pickled (see below)
  • 1 Package Tofu- tossed in soy sauce, Nooch and garlic powder Cubed and air fried until crispy
  • 1 Batch Peanut Sauce
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro

Notes

Slice vegetables and place in 50% boiling water and 50% white vinegar (add up to 1 tbsp sugar if desired)
Make tofu (use this recipe) and air fry until crispy
Put together the peanut sauce (use this recipe
Cut and toast baguette, if desired
Assemble sandwiches and add cilantro
