Quick and Easy Vegan buns- two ways

These amazing little buns come together super quickly, and are amazingly versatile.

Rising time 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams White bread flour
  • 100 grams Rye flour
  • 100 grams Mix of seeds of your choice I like chia, pumpkin, sunflower and sesame
  • 15 grams Hemp Hearts
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Canola Oil
  • 350 Grams Luke warm water

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Pour the water and oil and knead for about a minute- using a kitchen-aid (if possible)
  • To make slider buns, measure out 8 x 120 gram pieces and smooth into a ball. Place on a parchment covered baking tray. Cover in plastic wrap and let rise for 1.5 hours.
  • Remove cover and bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
  • Alternatively place the 12 x 85 gram pieces side by in a greased casserole dish. Cover and let rise for 1.5 hours. Bake for approximately 25 minutes.

  • For the most consistant sized buns make note of the weight of your bowl pre-ingredients so you can measure and divide the mixed dough accurately.
